How to record TV shows online?
Hello, I have posted a question about how to record online TV shows to the pc, however, I am not getting any answer, so please help! I’ve always wondered if there is a way I can record episodes or such things off online TV channels such as MTV, VH1. Does anyone know where can I find an online TV recorder?

There are now thousands of internet TV channels (ABC, CBS, FOX, Veoh and others) which provide you with full episodes of popular TV shows. That’s why more and more people have stopped watching TV on TV anymore.
Now, many people even want to record TV from internet onto their pc, iPod or Apple TV and watch it whenever and wherever they want. By recording internet TV shows, you could build your TV show collections and share them with your family and friends.
The problem you have to go through the process to record internet TV show is that the TV show providers do not give you any download option, and their videos usually use a streaming video format (.flv) which can’t be played by most of the media player (Real Player, iPod, iPhone and so on). The method I’m describing here uses Streaming Video Recorder, which allows you to record online TV shows and save them to a common file format that you can play back on any player.
How to record internet TV show with Streaming Video Recorder
This tutorial will teach you how to record internet TV show through using Streaming Video Recorder to automatically detect and record your favorite TV shows.
The first thing to do is download Streaming Video Recorder. After installation, click “Settings” button to select the download directory.
Find your favorite TV show and play, the app will automatically detect it and prompt you to record TV from internet to your computer.
After downloading, all videos are stored on your computer. If you want to put the videos to the iPod, iPhone or Apple TV, just click “Convert” and select the video format to convert videos for your media player.
